Faisalabad: During material testing by Provincial Building Division Faisalabad, bricks from 90 out of 100 brick kilns were found to be smaller than regulated size, according to a news report. The material testing was being done to find out brick sizes of buildings and offices in all four districts of the division and the bricks from 100 kilns were sent to the regional testing laboratory.<\/p>\n

The size of bricks was found to be 12% smaller than the regulated size under Section 801, 48 ,and 104 of Building and Roads Rules 1971. The authorities are expected to take action on this soon, which could include rebate on extra payments, and action against the brick kiln owners.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
