Gujranwala: During a crackdown against illegal buildings in the city, the Gujranwala Municipal Corporation sealed more than thirty under construction units, reported a news source. The operation was carried out on the instructions of Gujranwala Mayor Sheikh Sarwat Ikram.<\/p>\n

The sealed buildings were being constructed without having their maps approved and receiving approvals from the concerned departments. These comprise of commercial plazas, markets, marriage halls, hotels, restaurants, and factories.<\/p>\n

The operation was carried out under the supervision of Building Committee Chairman Atif Masood Butt and Planning Officer Tahir Gujjar.
