Gujranwala: The Environmental Protection Department and All Pakistan Brick Kiln Association have decided to change the design of kilns in the district, according to a news report.<\/p>\n
The new kilns will be designed along modern lines, which will reduce the carbon emissions by 60% and cost of brick-making will be reduced by 30%. The new kilns will be made on zigzag design prevalent in Nepal and the old brick kilns will also be rebuilt along those lines.
