Lahore: Overseas Pakistanis have helped upgrade the urology ward of Lahore General Hospital, according to a news report. Now, the air-conditioned ward will have the capacity for 72 beds instead of the previous 40. The patients will also have the facilities for a minor operation theatre on the same floor.<\/p>\n
According to the details, separate wards and waiting areas have also been created for children, males and females. The new ward was inaugurated on 2nd<\/sup> May 2018 in a ceremony. The gathering was addressed and told that when the ward was originally formed in 1978, it had 15 beds, now it has the capacity for 72.
