Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA)\u2019s governing body has approved the construction of a multi-storey LDA Tower Complex costing PKR 10 billion, according to a news source. This multi-storey tower is going to be constructed at the vacant site of the old fruit and vegetable market on Ferozepur Road, at Kot Lakhpat.<\/p>\n
Details of this, along with various other projects around the city were discussed at a meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister\u2019s Advisor and the LDA Governing Body member, and attended by various government and LDA dignitaries. The city builder has approved the hiring of a consultant to initiate planning for the construction of the proposed complex.<\/p>\n
Apart from this, LDA has also decided to repair and upgrade pedestrian bridges at Jail Road and Mall Road. These were constructed a few years ago in front of Lahore College for Women University, Kinnaird College, and Panorama Centre along Mall Road, and would now be repaired at a cost of PKR 41.57 million.
