The SC while addressing the Mayor stated that a clean city is the right of every citizen, and the monsoon season is coming up. If the drains are not clean, it will lead to a mess in the city.<\/p>\n<p>The court also instructed that the matter of tenders and roadblocks in uplift schemes be presented before the Water Commission. The court was hearing a petition concerning the provision of clean water in Sindh.<\/p>\n<p>On a question of the court, the Mayor explained that Karachi has a total of 36 drains and work for cleaning them has begun and a comprehensive plan has been created for the purpose.
