Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has prepared the first draft of its budget for the next fiscal year, according to a news report. The budget does not include any megaprojects as LDA will not construct any during the next fiscal year.<\/p>\n
LDA budget is expected to have a volume of PKR 15.39 billion. While no megaprojects will be constructed next year, budget will be allocated for LDA Tower Complex approved in the last meeting of the governing body. A budget of PKR 10 billion has been recommended for the project.<\/p>\n
LDA has prepared the recommendations for setting PKR 14.5 billion as income targets. It has also been suggested that PKR 4 billion will be the target non-development income. Meanwhile, to increase the resources, the recommendations to increase Commercial Fee and to reduce the budget on sale of properties are under consideration.<\/p>\n
