This has come following the provisions under the Finance Act 2018 which disallows non-filers of income tax returns from booking and registering new vehicles from 1<sup>st<\/sup> July 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The IMC urged the people to change their status as tax filers in a public notice a few days ago, as many people who had previously booked their cars didn\u2019t have their names in the Active Tax Payers\u2019 List. For deliveries scheduled during June and currently due balance payments, assemblers have asked the authorised dealers to contact every customer individually to inform them about the procedures.
