Rawalpindi: Over 1,056,000 samplings have been planted by Forests Rawalpindi South Circle in Rawalpindi South, Jhelum, and Chakwal districts under the Prime Minister\u2019s Green Pakistan Program, according to a news report. Forests Rawalpindi South Circle Conservator Saqib Mahmood Ali has said that the department has planted 306% additional trees over the set target.<\/p>\n

Ali added that a comprehensive plan of massive tree plantation was devised to bring maximum area under forest cover as a means of overcoming environmental degradation and the Forests Department has made all efforts for maximising plantation in the areas.
