He also highlighted the importance of building newer mega water reservoirs integral for dealing with water-related problems in future.<\/p>\n<p>Ghafoor called for creating consensus for the construction of the dam as a way towards resolving the country\u2019s water crisis and bringing prosperity to the country. He accused those opposing the dam as being against Pakistan and its economic development. Ghafoor added that since agriculture is the backbone of the national economy, water supply has to be met in order to facilitate it.
