Lahore: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) signal-free corridor connecting Walton Road at Defence Morr with DHA Phase V has been completed, reported a news source. The project was completed in five months.
\nThe signal-free corridor, which connects Defence Morr with Phase V, has two flyovers and three underpasses. This corridor has made Defence Morr and Masjid Chowk signal-free.<\/p>\n
The underpass on Masjid Chowk will open to traffic before Eid-ul-Fitr. The corridor has reduce the travelling time between Defence Mor and Phase from 25 minutes to 5 minutes.For traffic management within DHA, the authority has set up a control room and also reserved cars and heavy bikes for patrolling.<\/p>\n
For the security of residents, DHA is currently being monitored via 25 CCTV cameras. To improve the security conditions further, the 350 camera installed by the Safe City Authority have also been made part of the system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
