Lahore: To prepare for monsoon, Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has decided to use under-construction Haji Drain during the monsoon as well, according to a news report. The stormwater drain will be used for draining water.<\/p>\n
After the pre-monsoon rains in June, the monsoon rains will begin from July 1, and there are 22 spots in the city which are in danger of becoming submerged. WASA is making efforts to prevent that. The water from Central Lahore will be saved in the natural stormwater drain and later drained.
