Pakistan has jumped up by 15 positions to this rank. During 2016, Pakistan was ranked at the 88<sup>th<\/sup> position. The improvement has occurred as a result of enhancement in transparency over the past two years, regulatory reforms, and increased data collection.<\/p>\n<p>This is a bi-annual report which measures transparency on the basis of 186 components from 6 Sub-Indices. The data reveals that the average transparency scores kept improving over this period.
