Islamabad: The National Highway Authority (NHA) collected more than PKR 25 billion in terms of toll tax during 2017-18, reported a news source. The authority\u2019s revenue collected via toll tax has increased by PKR 9 billion in the last five years.<\/p>\n

At the moment, the NHA operates 119 toll plazas on national highways, motorways, strategic roads, and bridges, and the amount collected is spent on maintenance and repair of the respective roads.
