Unit 3 has been taken over by Wapda after completing its reliability period, while <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/trial-run-of-neelum-jhelums-2nd-unit-starts-power-generation-expected-in-30-days.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Unit 2<\/a> is still being tested. Unit 4 has started its reliability test while unit 1 is undergoing various tests in accordance with the contractual obligations and is expected to go on trial generation next month.<\/p>\n<p>The Neelum-Jhelum hydroelectric power plant has 90% of its construction underground and beneath the high mountainous areas.
