Islamabad: According to Pakistan\u2019s Federal Bureau of Statistics, Pakistan\u2019s cement industry has earned USD 20.78 million by exporting more than 440,000 tonnes of cement during May 2018, as per a news source. During April 2018, exports USD 404,000 tonnes of cement were exported.<\/p>\n
These statistics represent a growth of 8.6% and 10.3% (in terms of value and quantity) in month-on-month terms and a growth of 39.9% and 57.8% (in terms of value and quantity), in terms of year-on-year statistics.<\/p>\n
On a cumulative basis, the export revenue has increased between July 2017 and May 2018 to USD 206.533 million with 4.189 million tonnes, as compared with USD 219.812 million with 4.166 million tonnes, during the last fiscal year.
