Due to burgeoning interest in shares, the value of shares increased by 65.51% because of which revenues increased by more than PKR 99 billion.<\/p>\n<p>As the fervour surrounding elections calmed down, business activity resumed, accompanied by extensive trading. At day end, KSE-100 index increased by 749.94 points and closed at 42089.16.
