Karachi: K-electric has taken steps to tackle with climate change, according to a news report. Bin Qasim Power Station-II (BQPS-II) is the first Pakistani station to be granted the status of World Wildlife Fund\u2019s green office.<\/p>\n

The Bin Qasim power plant while working to create energy efficiently also works to produce minimal waste in the entire value chain. BQPS-II also holds the distinction of being the first Pakistani plant to have ISO 50001 certification because of its reduced carbon emission and efficiency in production of energy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
