Lahore: The Government of Punjab approved a development scheme of urban development sector worth PKR 5.059 million, according to a news report. This scheme consists of supplementing water supply from Chahan Dam to Rawalpindi city, especially those areas which have been added to Wasa\u2019s jurisdiction.<\/p>\n

The uplift scheme was approved during a special meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) for the current fiscal year 2018-2019. Planning and Development Chairman Habib-ur-Rehman Gilani presided over the meeting, whereas a number of dignitaries were present.
