Islamabad: China has offered Pakistan to trade in Yuan to ease off pressure from the Pakistani Rupee, stated a news report. This recommendation has been put forward by the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing during a meeting with the ex-interim Minister for Commerce, Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, various issues of economic cooperation and bilateral trade agreement were brought to focus. Jing also announced a number of unilateral trade concessions to Pakistan to decrease the country\u2019s trade deficit.<\/p>\n
Jing also expressed his earnest to invite the newly elected Prime Minister Imran Khan to Beijing and said that a delegation led by the Commerce Minister or the Secretary Commerce could visit China before the PM to review all areas of bilateral economic cooperation. Jing also added that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would include more energy and infrastructure projects, and that more areas of cooperation would be highlighted for trade promotion.<\/p>\n
