Lahore: DHA Estate Agents Association (DHAEAA) President Major (R) Rafiq Hasrat has demanded the government to offer special discount in taxes to the overseas Pakistanis looking to invest in the property sector, reported a news source. Hasrat demanded the government to take measures for the promotion and development of the property market as it is one of the few sectors in the country that employees hundreds of thousands of youth. The sector also plays its pivotal role in country\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n
Addressing the taxation issue, Hasrat demand that the irrational taxes applicable on buying and selling of immovable property should be rolled back. The association has forwarded its suggestion to Finance Minister Asad Umar for improvement in the property sector.
