Lahore: Land acquisition for Kohala Hydropower project is expected to be completed in December as 70% land has already been acquired, a news source reported. The hydropower plant is to be constructed on River Jhelum and it is the biggest project that falls under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).<\/p>\n

Kohala Hydropower Plant will produce 122 megawatts of electricity, while the project will complete in seven years. The project is being looked after by a company falling under China Three Gorges Corporation.
