Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) met at the Secretariat and devised a comprehensive plan for regulating production in Zone IV\u2019s agro farms, according to a news report. The board decided that the owners of the agro farms would be required to plant at least 150 fruit trees per acre every year. Owners of poultry farms would have to produce at least 4,500 broiler chickens, apart from having 9,000 layer chickens and production of 5,000 egg-laying hens every year.<\/p>\n
The board also approved a monitoring system for agro farming by employing modern means. It further said that out of the allotted land, 504 agro farms were allocated for agricultural purposes; of which 269 plots had been given to the public, 172 to land affectees, and 63 had been auctioned.
