Official statistics have calculated that this is incurring a loss of PKR 50 billion to the national exchequer.<\/p>\n<p>This statement has come while the Prime Minister Imran Khan was chairing a briefing at the Prime Minister\u2019s Office, attended by Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Additional Secretary Incharge Petroleum Division Mian Asad Haya ud Din and senior government officers.<\/p>\n<p>Mian Asad briefed the PM about the existing situation vis-\u00e0-vis demand and supply in the oil and gas sector, and the progress on construction and operationalization of TAPI and Pak-Iran gas pipeline, along with other significant projects.
