Lahore: The federal government is working on three recommendations to curb electricity theft, reduce line losses and the cost of electricity, and increase production of power, according to a news report. Among the recommendations is the plan to produce 10,000 megawatts of electricity through solar energy.<\/p>\n

The electricity produced through the solar energy will not burden the current transmission system. Installation of solar panels for tube wells and in some big residential areas is being considered.
