Islamabad: During July 2018, the imports of construction machinery increased by 1.3%, according to a news report. As per the Pakistan Board of Statistics (PBS), machinery worth USD 39.50 million was imported, whereas during the same month last year, machinery worth USD 39.07 million was imported.<\/p>\n
The PBS also states that during June 2018, construction machinery worth USD 23.632 million was imported to fulfil domestic requirements. The recent expansion has been attributed to construction activity all across the country.
