Lahore: Metropolitan Corporation Lahore is to start a crackdown against all kinds of encroachment in the city today, according to a publication. In its warning notice issued yesterday, the corporation advised citizens to remove permanent and\/or temporary encroachments from their homes, shops, plazas or that set up on government land.<\/p>\n
The publication also states that those failing to act upon the warning notice will face repercussions in the form immediate demolishing of these illegally built structures, where the owner\/user of the structure will be made to pay demolishing cost. In addition, the corporation will also take legal actions extended to it by the Punjab Local Government Act 2013.<\/p>\n
