Islamabad \u2013 In order to govern the development of low-cost housing units, the Federal Government looks forward to the formation of a new company \u2018Apna Ghar Limited\u2019.<\/p>\n

Decision for the formation of public limited company was taken in a meeting of the steering committee for low cost housing scheme. The meeting was presided over by Finance Minsiter, Ishaq Dar and attended by Minister Housing Sindh, Secretary Housing, Minister of State for Housing and Works, Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Housing-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Secretary Housing and Minister for Housing Balochistan.<\/p>\n

For the families falling under the low-income category, the Government seeks to construct 500,000 residential units. It was decided in the meeting that \u2018Apna Ghar Limited\u2019 will be established under companies\u2019 ordinance.
