Lahore: The Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) has disconnected the water supply of 280 service stations and car wash points, a news source reported. Bills of PKR 10,000 have also been sent to the owners of each of the service stations extracting underground water.<\/p>\n
Out of the 550 service stations, 280 had been using WASA\u2019s water supply, while the remaining 270 were using motor pumps and underground water.<\/p>\n
About 400 gallons of water is used by service stations in washing each vehicle, but WASA aims to limit that to 80 gallons.
