The crackdown is being carried out on the instructions of Lahore High Court Justice Ali Akbar Qureshi.<\/p>\n<p>The housing societies that are being developed according to their respective plans submitted with the LDA will be granted formal approvals, while developers of those projects that being developed without an approval will face related legal actions.<\/p>\n<p>Reportedly, LDA has prepared a list of 500 illegal housing societies, out of which 150 have been served with legal notices. While preparing a list of illegal housing societies in Lahore Division on orders of Justice Qureshi, it was found out that most of these housing societies are located in Kasur; 170.
