Karachi: The Public Private Partnership Policy Board headed by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah approved BRT Yellow Line, Blue Line, Malir Expressway, and the establishment of 50 megawatt power plant for the K-IV project, a news source reported.<\/p>\n
The progress of each project was briefed to the meeting and the meeting was told that the Yellow Line project was launched by the transport and mass transit department under the bus rapid transit (BRT) system and a Chinese firm had signed a concession agreement on Sept 9, 2016. However, the firm had been unable to raise financing within 12 months from Chinese banks. So, a fresh bidding was approved for the project.<\/p>\n
