The information was shared by Sindh Minister for Municipal and Katchi Abadis Saeed Ghani while he addressing a meeting.<\/p>\n<p>According to a survey conducted in 1997, Sindh is home to 1,414 katchi abadis that cover an area of 26,458 acres. Saeed stated that Karachi is home to the largest number of such settlements, the count of which stands at 575.
