Islamabad: Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) Chairman, who is also the head of Implementation Committee of Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dam, Lt. General Muzammil Hussain has said that acquisition of land for Mohmand Dam and rehabilitation of the displaced people is on his priority list, reported a news source. He was presiding over a meeting held to discuss these projects.<\/p>\n
The meeting members were told that land acquisition for the dam will start soon and will be completed in phases. In this regard, Gilgit-Baltistan has assured that comprehensive suggestions for land acquisition and rehabilitation of the affectees will be shared in a couple of days.<\/p>\n
