Citizens can now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/blog\/how-to-apply-for-naya-pakistan-housing-programme.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">apply for a house<\/a> under the first phase of NPHP.<\/p>\n<p>The 5-million houses <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/naya-pakistan-housing-programme-launched.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">initiative was launched<\/a> by Prime Minister Imran Khan about a week earlier, where he had announced that five million affordable houses would be constructed over a period of five years for low-income segments of society.<\/p>\n<p>In the first phase, houses can be applied for in Sukkur, Quetta, Gilgit, Muzzafarabad, Swat, Islamabad, and Faisalabad. This is the pilot phase of the project. In the next phase, nine more cities will be included in the program where the scheme is expected to be launched early next year.<\/p>\n<p>Ministers and dignitaries inaugurated the registration process for NPHP in all the cities of the first phase.
