Peshawar: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested the owner of an illegal housing scheme in Nowshera on account of cheating the public, reported a news source. The accused lured the general public into investing in his illegal society by lying about the status of plots.<\/p>\n
The property buyers were promised that they were being sold the allotted plots, but the developers didn\u2019t offer the property possession despite a lapse of several years. After scrutinising the records, NAB found out that the owner had not obtained a no-objection certificate for his project.<\/p>\n
