The court was hearing a petition on the removal of encroachments and restoration of historical buildings on Mall Road.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioner had contended that it has become difficult to walk on Mall Road because of the presence of encroachments and petitioned that they be removed from footpaths. Justice Ali Akbar Qureshi instructed Lord Mayor Lahore to remove the encroachments and present a report.
