Faisalabad: State land worth PKR 10 billion has been retrieved from land mafia in Faisalabad, a news source reported. The Anti-Corruption Establishment repossessed the land in an operation carried out in the city.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the matter, ACE Regional Director Shafqatullah Mushtaq stated the operation was launched in Faisalabad and target areas were identified where land mafia had taken hold of government land and constructed on it.<\/p>\n
He also informed the journalists that ACE Faisalabad Region had received 158 corruption complaints in one month and 108 of these have been forwarded to the relevant departments. ACE was conducting inquiries in 26 corruption cases under these complaints, he said.<\/p>\n
