Islamabad: The Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has inaugurated Pakistan Citizen Portal, a portal meant to provide timely feedback, a news source reported. The portal has been made available on a cell phone app which can be downloaded from Google Play. The citizens will also be able to write and send their complaints and suggestions through telephone, email, or traditional snail mail.<\/p>\n
The portal is meant to send complaints and suggestions to the Prime Minister\u2019 Office directly, which will work to address grievances and implement recommendations.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the matter, the PM called it the first step towards improving governance and creating a conducive environment for investment. The portal is also going to provide information about the areas where most complaints are coming from and from which ministry, PM Khan stated.<\/p>\n
He also said that all policy-making will be done after hearing the voice of the people, and that it will bring quantum change in Pakistan. He also expected the portal to remove barriers to investment by addressing and resolving the complaints filed.<\/p>\n
The complainants will be asked to submit their address and NIC details and the system will be connected to National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to ensure the authenticity of complaints.<\/p>\n

He further said that complaints will be present on the ACRs of officials who don\u2019t perform and promotions will also be made on the basis of merit. He said that all complaint data will be published to ensure accountability for provincial governments as well.<\/p>\n
