In the conference they stated that the actual victims of the ongoing anti-encroachment operation in the city would be compensated and a committee has been formed for the purpose.<\/p>\n<p>They made it clear, however, that no compensation will be given to anyone who was involved in the encroachments. The committee, formed by the government, is headed by the Karachi commissioner.
