Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC) plans to add 3,000 acres of land to its already acquired 4,500 acres for the second phase of M3 Industrial Estate, a news source quoted Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) President Syed Zia Alamdar Hussain. He was talking to a three-member delegation of China Road & Bridge Corporation (CRBC).<\/p>\n
Hussain, while briefing the delegation on the launch of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) phase two, stressed the need for technology transfer between the two countries. He added that a strategy should be developed in this regard.<\/p>\n
He said that M3 Industrial Estate, which is strategically located along the Motorway, has already been declared a special economic zone under CPEC. Such a location, he said, would be used to export products – including wheat, milk and vegetables – to China and Central Asian States through Gwadar.<\/p>\n
