Muzaffargarh: Several mega projects, including three model cities, will be launched in three municipalities in March, a news source quoted Municipal Committee Chairman Sardar Akram Khan Chandia. He was talking to a delegation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).<\/p>\n
Chandia informed the delegation about the model cities which will be built at a cost of USD 330 million. He said work on sewerage systems would commence after the completion of PC-I.<\/p>\n
Malik Qaswar Abbass, the focal person, said Muzaffargarh is among six municipal committees shortlisted by the ADB. He added that work on projects in underway in the three municipalities.<\/p>\n
Municipal Committee Chief Officer Zohaib Hameed Qureshi said the projects would cover modern sewerage system, carpeted roads, safe city project, traffic control system, and water treatment plants.<\/p>\n
