These societies will face legal charges, and that\u2019s in addition to having their sales offices sealed.<\/p>\n<p>Reportedly, the GDA has prepared a list of a total of 118 housing societies and land sub-divisions involved in selling plots to the public without having an NOC issued by the authority. To carry out the operation that started\u00a0yesterday, Ejaz Akbar Bhatti was appointed as Director Town Planning.<\/p>\n<p>According to the details issued by GDA, Gujranwala Division has 64 illegal housing societies, while NOC approval is under process for another 27 housing colonises and land subdivisions each.
