Concerned officials have forwarded a summary to the provincial cabinet requesting allocation of PKR 153.727 million from supplementary grant for the project as it is not included in the Annual Development Programme (ADP) 2018-19.<\/p>\n
Last week, a delegation of philanthropists from Lahore called on Prime Minister Imran Khan and pledged to fund the pilot project of five shelter homes announced by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.<\/p>\n
The delegation said they would also fund five shelter homes in addition to the existing announced by the government. They also briefed the prime minister on five government-run hospitals being operated in collaboration with the Indus Health Network, which has also provided PKR 15 billion for the construction of a 600-bed state-of-the-art hospital in Lahore.<\/p>\n
