The department has also announced the issuance of PT-10 challan.<\/p>\n<p>The defaulters have been asked to file their property tax returns by December 31. Those adhering to the deadline would be able to get 5% of their property tax waived.<\/p>\n<p>According to the announcement, the returns can be submitted in any district branch of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) or State Bank.<\/p>\n<p>Citizens have also been asked to report to the concerned office of the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department or any facilitation centre in case of non-availability of PT-10.<\/p>\n<p>The excise department, in collaboration with the National Bank, is already working on an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/e-reporting-introduced-to-make-property-tax-system-transparent.html\">E-Reporting System<\/a> to make the property taxation system transparent.<\/p>\n<p>The system will allow monitoring of excise officers and it will keep citizens up-to-date on their tax challan.
