A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court heard the OLMT case.<\/p>\n<p>As the proceedings went on, the top judge observed that the court would not tolerate delays in the completion of the project, which is way past its deadline.<\/p>\n<p>The bench, while appointing Justice (retired) Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rehman as the arbitrator between the government and civic bodies concerned, adjourned the hearing for an indefinite period.<\/p>\n<p>The transport department had earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zameen.com\/news\/pkr-190-million-released-for-olmt.html\">released PKR 190 million for land acquisition and allied services<\/a>. Lahore Development Authority (LDA), however, failed to secure additional funds for the revised design of OLMT.<\/p>\n<p>The civic body had requested the Punjab Government for revised administrative approval, saying the planning and finance departments approved changes in the project.
