Gujranwala: A five-member committee has been tasked to devise the modalities and time frame regarding the beautification of GT Road and submit its recommendations within a week, a news source reported. Gujranwala Division Commissioner Asadullah Faiz constituted the committee which includes members of Gujranwala Municipal Corporation, GDA, WAPDA, Sui Gas, and the highways department.<\/p>\n
The committee was formed during a session held to review measures taken by the authorities on road safety. RPO Gujranwala Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, CPO Dr Moeen Masood, Assistant Commissioner General Tanveer Yasin, Chairman GDA Amir Rehman, Mayor Corporation Shiekh Sarwat Ikram, and other officials concerned attended the session.<\/p>\n
Commissioner Faiz directed the officials remove the technicalities so that the seven traffic signals could be made properly functional to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.<\/p>\n
