Gujranwala: Funds amounting to PKR 250 million have been issued for the completion of sewerage and water drainage projects in the city, reported a news source. The details in this regard were shared during a meeting held between the departments concerned and the contractors hired for the project.<\/p>\n
During this meeting, it was also stated that the necessary measures will be taken to ensure that the project is completed with complete honesty and transparency. To further ensure it, it was also decided that the project will be monitored by the officers representing National Engineering Services of Pakistan. All complaints regarding substandard work will be thoroughly investigated and the contractor involved in it will not get the due payment.<\/p>\n
The contractors were also informed that the authorities concerned want the project to be completed within the estimated cost.<\/p>\n
