Peshawar: The district administration has launched first-of-its-kind administrative surveillance vehicle to assist it in efficient monitoring of the administrative matters, a news source reported. Deputy Commissioner Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh launched the surveillance vehicle.<\/p>\n
The surveillance vehicle is equipped with CCTV cameras connected to a District Smart Control Room where trained staff converts gathered information into actionable data.<\/p>\n
Sheikh said there had been a need for a modern surveillance system which could be used to facilitate the authorities to cope with administrative measures.<\/p>\n

The deputy commissioner said the departments concerned had identified 500 violators of wall chalking on first day of operation of the vehicle and served notice to them.<\/p>\n
