The apex court had placed the ban back in May 2017 to deal with shortage of potable water and poor sanitation conditions in the city.<\/p>\n<p>The verdict was given by SC larger bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar while hearing the petition filed by Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) against the ban. ABAD has been actively pursuing the case as the ban directly impacted over 1.5 million people linked with the industry.
