Lahore: The governing body of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has approved PKR 38.39 billion annual budget for the civic body and its subordinate agencies Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and Traffic Engineering & Planning Agency (TEPA), a news source reported. The governing body estimated the total development expenditure for the current fiscal year to be PKR 16.03 billion. LDA will cover PKR 5.61 billion through its own resources, whereas PKR 10.41 billion will be provided by the provincial government under its Annual Development Programme.<\/p>\n
PKR Rs 1.66 billion has been allocated through LDA’s own sources for carrying out development work in LDA housing schemes.
